Duo Rozemond & Bekkers

In 2017 Jacobien met accordionist Renée Bekkers, best known for her work with the Toeac ensemble. Jacobien and Renée both performed as soloists in a tour with ‘Vivaldi Code Rood’, a music theater performance conceived by and performed with viola player Esther Apituley. Renée and Jacobien immediately clicked and after the project they decided to form a duo.

They have since performed in various chamber music series including the Chamber Music Festival Zoom! and the Flanders Festival where they were received with great enthusiasm by the public.

Dutch composers Willem Jeths and Gerard Beljon have written compositions especially for them. Duo Rozemond & Bekkers has released 2 albums: Vox and Portrayal. Vox is available for download at NativeDSD Music from the Cobra Records music label.
