Phion Orchestra of Gelderland & Overijssel

Phion, the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra of the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel, aims to reach as many people as possible with live performances of symphonic music.

The orchestra offers inspiring and exciting programs, working with principal guest conductor Otto Tausk, guest conductors such as Claus Peter Flor and Alexei Ogrintchouk and the two concert masters Mathieu van Bellen and Cécile Huijnen.

Parallel to its rich classical tradition, the orchestra ventures into a world of innovative concert experience. in order to realize this, Phion collaborates with other cultural partners within and outside its own discipline, telling the story of classical music in many different ways.
