In autumn 2023, something happened that his loyal fan base no longer thought possible: David Munyon returned to Germany and Europe for an extensive tour, including a stopover at Günter Pauler’s Northeim recording studio.

Over ten years have passed since the last Stockfisch studio album and now both works contain a total of 24 songs – each with a playing time of over an hour: There are well-known and popular Munyon classics that are known from his concerts and that have finally made it onto an audiophile recording, many brand new numbers and also a few cover songs that he always pulls out of the hat to everyone’s surprise and is able to captivate his listeners with – Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan are honored here and even P!nk has been perfectly “munyonized”.
