Studio Konzert: I

In this concert, Olivia Trummer is at her musical best. She plays and sings with inspiration and expressiveness, not a note too many or too few. Her first solo album seems relaxed and self-confident at the same time and gives hope that many more solo albums will follow.

The common thread of this album are songs, some of which are her own as usual, but also in the form of interpretations of some well-known pop songs and jazz standards. On side A of the record, Olivia Trummer accompanies herself exclusively on the grand piano, the brilliance of which wonderfully carries the clear sound of her voice. On side B, on the other hand, her singing almost merges with the mysteriously shimmering bass of the Fender Rhodes. All of the arrangements on the album are elegant, harmonious and well-formed, without losing any room for spontaneity.

Studio Konzert: This is the large, atmospheric studio hall that has already inspired numerous jazz greats to achieve top performances. This is the utmost concentration of the artists, motivated to the tips of their fingers, on the special moment. This is an attentive audience captivated by the magic of the moment.
