From the top to the bottom of this album which was recorded in 1976, Chuck “flies” over the fingerboard of his electric guitar with astounding “chops” and amazing, soaring lines. Each tune, thoughtfully arranged, with elements, rhythmic or melodic and instrumental combinations, has a personality of its own. Chuck Wayne is definitely one of the guitar world’s giant heroes. This recording is a unique treasure, to be shared by that entire world.
