Recording Process | Recorded in Johan's "piano room" using a variety of microphones from the humble AKG D19 to the glorious Neumann M149. The binaural version of the album was recorded with a Neumann KU100 Dummy Head Binaural Stereo Microphone. Microphone signals were routed through Rupert Neve Designs 5024 Quad Mic Preamps. Analog-to-Digital Conversion was handled by a Burl Audio B2 Bomber. The digital signal was then fed into the Tascam DA-3000 Stereo Master Recorder (capturing the perforamnce at 5.6MHz / DSD128) |
