Choosing Favourites is the 4th DSD release from pianist Johan Versk at the Native DSD Music store. This new album from AudioDefine Records was recorded by Johan Versk in his private studio using a Fazioli F278 grand piano, Korg MR-2000SBK SSD and a variety of microphones from the ever-loved Shure SM58 to the grandiose Neumann U87Ai.
Played in a relaxed setting with no audience, assistants or unnecessary artificial effects, Choosing Favourites is a hauntingly beautiful selection of his favourite pieces. The 10 tracks on the album include his performances of Greensleeves, Danny Boy, Ave Maria, and Flight of the Bumblebee.
