The Transfer

The Transfer by Radiostandart is a new album from Analog Father.  Radiostandart is Audrius Straupas, an ambient and new age music composer and performer from Lithuania. He offers listeners ambient music from the coast of Klaipeda.

The Transfer was recorded to Analog Tape and transferred to Stereo DSD 128 by Vladas Straupas at AnalogFather using the Korg MR-2000S DSD recorder and Analog to Digital Converter for release at NativeDSD Music as part of the first trio of DSD albums from the label.

He describes his album The Transfer as “a musical journey, showing how a young 16 year old back in 2005 decided to create music without any music theory knowledge. The main purpose to create was to document my complicated emotions, which I didn’t know how to express at such a young age. The main ambition was ‘No matter what, the sound design, mixing, arrangements – has to be done by me. No third-party loops and samples. Mixing had to be done by me also.’ To understand, to experiment, to grow and accept change. That’s what transferring yourself is all about.”
