I first heard this in my local HiFi shop in the early nineties as it was a reference recording. I first bought it on Vinyl LP, then on Stereo CD and then on a Native DSD download.

On first listening to the Reel to Reel Cantate Domino it almost brought a tear as the shear scale and dynamic was so much more convincing. Wow

One thing – slight clipping on the second tape. First noticed very slight on the CD but even more on tape. I suspect it’s on the original recording. I still recommend this edition of the album.
