This is an interesting collection of tunes, including some well-known standards and two original compositions.
The instrument is the Classical Guitar, played in a Jazz style. The artist is an accomplished, classically-trained musician, but this is simply good music.
Sophisticated listeners will appreciate the new arrangements and the nice touches sprinkled throughout, but this is music for everyone.

The more I listened to this album the more enjoyable it became.
The first eight tracks were rather understated but each one laid a foundation for the next track. The foundations continued to be laid by tracks nine (“Autumn Leaves”) to thirteen (“Voyage”) and each one blossomed a little than the previous one. The final track (“Finale”) was like a flower in full bloom and then gently fading.
