Samboro is an electrifying new album by the Petar and Daniel Guitar Duo, celebrating the fusion of Serbian, Balkan, Brazilian, and Latin American musical traditions with jazz and classical influences.

Featuring world premieres written and dedicated for the duo, as well as fresh interpretations of works by Vojislav Ivanović, Chrystian Dozza, Paulo Bellinati, Dušan Bogdanović, and others, the album explores rich rhythmic landscapes, lyrical melodies, and intricate dialogues between two guitars, complemented by flute, bass, percussion, and cavaquinho.

From the dynamic title track Samboro, which seamlessly blends Balkan and Brazilian grooves, to the evocative Lazar’s Morning and the infectious rhythms of Bom Partido, each piece offers a vibrant musical journey. Incorporating diverse instrumentation and innovative arrangements, Samboro captures the duo’s virtuosity and their passion for musical storytelling across traditions.
