This piano is the only one of its kind in the world and is possibly the finest piano ever built. The instrument resides at the magnificent Beleura House in Mornington, Victoria in Australia.
Music producer and engineer Craig Field from Australia’s Underwood Studio has been working with both Sony Japan and Sony Australia for several years in the release of Sony’s new high-resolution microphone products. Underwood Studio recorded the first commercial album using the microphones and performed multiple tests and reviews of these superb recording devices.
Craig Field has also had a long-standing professional relationship recording the complex and extended range pianos built by the Stuart & Sons manufacturers. The piano is recorded using multiple stereo pairs direct to DSD.
We hope you enjoy this unique sound and the wonderful performance of acclaimed concert pianist Nicholas Young on this unique 108 key piano.
Tip! If you like what you hear, take a lsten to ‘Rare View‘ performed by the same pianist Nicholas Young on the same piano recorded by the same engineer.
