Nut features the Jazz Trio of Mate Pozsar, Szilard Mezei and Erno Hock on Hunnia Records. Máté Pozsár (Jazz Pianist), Szilard Mezei (Viola Player and Composer) and Erno Hock (Bassist) have been working together for a decade in various Jazz bands. They are also dominant members of the free improvised music scene in Hungary.

All compositions on Nut are freely improvised. The recordings, workshops and concerts organized by Szilard Mezei in Voivodina have fundamental importance in the musical life of each of these three. After the large number of co-productions, they began to play in trio, which proved to be a very fruitful music ensemble. The 21st version of “classical piano – violin – cello” trio attempts to combine various aspects of improvisational traditions to make a very narrative time flow.
