eNerd IV – Time Capsule 2020 (aka Farewell Party for Normality) is a Live to Stereo DSD 256 recording from Hunnia Records using the Hapi Analog to DSD 256 Converter from Merging Technologies. Time Capsule 2020 is an electronic music album that features “electro-future fusion” with drummer Endre Huszar (also known as eNerd) performing five original compositions that feature his unique electronic percussion and drums system with the accompaniment of a trio that includes violin, seven string electric guitar and a host of electronics.
The album is a Pure DSD release at NativeDSD. It is available in Stereo DSD 64, DSD 128, DSD 256, and DSD 512. The DSD 64, DSD 128, and DSD 512 editions of the album were created by NativeDSD Mastering Engineer Tom Caulfield using Signalyst’s HQ Player Pro 4 Mastering Software.
Endre Huszar describes the Time Capsule 2020 album this way “It was around 2010 when I teamed up with some music software specialists and developed InstaDrum – a unique drumming ecosystem that enabled me to create complex improvised musical textures on electronic drum pads while playing an acoustic kit.
In January 2020 I was invited to make a Live DSD 256 recording at SuperSize Recording which I happily started planning. Six months later we decided to move ahead with our preparations for the session. I decided to play three tunes from The Time Capsule material complimented with two new ones.
And then – to make things even more fun – the second lockdown came with even stricter rules than the first one. In the end, and against all odds, we decided to go forward and make the session happen. Have fun listening to it!”
Endre Huszar (eNerd) – Drums, InstaDrum System, Vocoder
Luca Kezdy – Violin
Peta Lukacs – Seven String Electric Guitar
Dure – Electronics
