The theme of the album Harmonies patriotiques et religieuses (Patriotic And Religious Harmonies) with pianist Eva Polgar is influenced by Ferenc Liszt’s dedication to his homeland and devotion to God.
Eva Polgar says “The further my profession has taken me from my country, the stronger I relate to these ideals. To honor my roots, Sendor Vil, the creator of the albums graphic design, has used images of a statue about Saint Elisabeth of the Hungarian Arpidhz Dynasty and of the decorative motives of the Lady of Snows Roman Catholic Church, both located in hometown, Zebegny, Hungary.”
Éva Polgár, Piano
