Luminosity from ConnecTrio is a Pure DSD 256 Stereo album, available in its original format as well as in Stereo DSD 512, 128 and 64 only at NativeDSD.
In ConnecTrio, we can hear three performers with completely different characters. As their name implies, their essence lies in forging connections—connections not only among themselves through the medium of chamber music but also with their audience. Central to their artistic mission is a profound commitment to engaging with the pressing social issues of our time, a dedication to responding to the realities that surround us, and a desire to fuse these elements into their music in a contemporary and thought-provoking manner. While their roots are firmly planted in the classical music tradition, they fearlessly embrace other genres and incorporate elements of broader artistic expression into their repertoire. They like to use brave and form-breaking tools, they are driven by a constant strong desire to create new forms and new sound worlds individually and together.
This group was founded in 2022 by Dominika Ács, María Valverde and Veronika T-Potzner. Their first project, “for who was not born”, premiered at the Budapest Spring Festival, was recognized with the “Best project” award in the Encore Program of the International Organization of Jeunesses Musicales. Also, received with enthusiasm by public and press. Later on, the premiere of Luminosity in the great Solti Hall would consolidate their unique artistic identity. They have performed at the Művészetek Völgye Fesztivál and Margófeszt, also in places like CEU, Fővárosi Szabó Ervin Könyvtár, Glass Hall in Müpa, Lumen and others. They have appeared in articles or interviews in Kultúra.hu, Papageno, Fidelio, Jazzy Radio, Manna FM 98.6 or Classic Radio.
“Their charismatic pastiche staged in a large open atrium that gave them space to stretch out and walk into the audience as well, used their formidable skills in a program (…) separated by spoken dramatic texts and striking instrumental numbers.”
