In their second album at NativeDSD, the CultureTone Ensemble brings us Graffiti. An album featuring music composed by J.F. Fasch.
The ensemble tells us “Our LF “CD Model” Oboes are the magical keys to our music making – playing them makes us feel the sky is the limit!”
The album is Exclusively Available in Stereo DSD 512, DSD 256, DSD 128, DSD 64 and DXD from Native DSD Music.
It is one of the aims of the CultureTone Foundation to build bridges between the arts. To risk new combinations and to show that every sincere implementation is capable of opening new doors.
TakerOne is an exceptional Street Artist whose unique style of photorealism has brought him acclaim worldwide. As we were discussing the idea of his creating a Graffiti wall picture which would surround our music from the 17th century, we all found ourselves absolutely drawn into this concept and couldn’t wait to get started.
The creation of TakerOne’s colourful Graffiti art brought the walls to life, and it felt as if the whole room was dancing to the music of J.F. Fasch while we played – an experience none of us will ever forget!
J.F. Fasch was a great admirer of J.D. Zelenka’s, especially of his Trio Sonatas ZWV 181. It feels in a way as though he wanted to continue along the path of Zelenka, who composed his six Trio Sonatas in 1720-22.
Although with a very different approach, J.F. Fasch follows up with his own touchingly atmospheric Trio Sonatas.
