To commemorate their 70th anniversary, the high-end audio equipment manufacturer Nagra joined forces with audiophile label 2xHD to compile and release a 70th Anniversary Celebration Album. 2xHD is now offering this collection of recordings in high-resolution download DXD and DSD formats as well as vinyl. The album is exclusively available in DSD 512 at NativeDSD Music, as well as 200g vinyl or analog reel-to-reel tape.
Mastered at 2xHD on Nagra equipment, the set is pure analog from analog master tapes. It includes tracks from Bill Evans, Buddy Tate, Louis Armstrong, Monty Alexander and Shirley Horn and other amazing audiophile tracks that were transferred from Analog Tape to Stereo DXD and DSD with the legendary Nagra IV-S tape recorder.
