Jazz connoisseurs know: Bean And The Boys alludes to the granddaddy of jazz tenor saxophone, Coleman “Bean” Hawkins. In this incarnation Scott Hamilton is on tenor saxophone, considered by many as the legitimate successor of the great Hawkins. Paolo Birro is a classically trained pianist who as a jazz musician accompanied many jazz giants. On drums is Alfred Kramer. This is pure music, and your listening pleasure will be at its finest!

1 review for Bean And The Boys

The album will set your foot tapping from almost the first note. And, whilst the focus is mainly on the saxophone, the piano and drums have their time in the spotlight. And the recording is up to Fonè’s usual very high standards. In short: buy the album!
