Overall, I really enjoyed the tunes but the piano and bass were, at times, too quiet and the drums too loud.

In addition, at about 2:05 on the final track (“Pure Imagination”) there is what sounds like a distorted raspberry. Unfortunately, I am rather sensitive to such “imperfections”. Given that seems to have been part of the performance, I would have preferred for Fone to omit the track.

The issue with the final track left me feeling disappointed. Had I known about the issue then I would not have bought the album. Yes, I accept that this is rather unfair but it is how I am. I like to give honest reviews.

The album was recorded only in DSD64 and usually I can pick up on that from a slight step back on those two attributes as resolution decreases but this not the case here at all. It sounds incredibly like you are at a large live performance. I’m very happy with this purchase.
