Reflections is the debut album by pianist Julian Mazzariello on Fone Jazz.  It is a selection of improvisations on standards and original compositions. The repertoire ranges includes Body and Soul, On Green Dolphin Street, Autumn Leaves, Over The Rainbow, Theme From M*A*S*H and More.  An album with music that ranges from Thelonious Monk and Bill Evans to originals.

The album offers an interesting musical journey in a jazz key, ranging from the “standards” of the Great American Song Book to original compositions, crossing the “song books” of other genres and cultures. A journey that takes us through the sounds of different cultures dear to the Anglo-Italian pianist. Recent trips to Brazil, Naples, with whom he is in love, and Britain – his country of birth – are just a few of the places Mazzariello wants to pay tribute to. Each piece reveals a precise identity accompanied by the refinement and elegance that characterize the pianist. “Playing the solo piano is always an important moment of growth, it presents you with important tasks. I have learned.”
