Quality and Channels Help

Fuga Lynx features the Lynx Flute Ensemble performing the work of Bach (Die Kunst der Fuge BWV 1080, Ohne 4 Kanons). Lynx is infinitely inspirational and there is something nearly impossible in their performance of Bach’s final masterpiece.

“This rare album concluded with the bells of the church resonating after the last hymn “I advance before the throne”. Their spirit and enthusiasm to come to a cold church in Germany only to record of the music of Bach and “Fuga’s Technique” was incredible. The most important quality of the album is its insight into Bach’s work. All the hardships and demanding work were rewarded by listening to the achievements of this recording.

Bach himself dies without listening to this work, but what he intended in the draft of this “fugue technique” is an eternal mystery. As there are no designations of musical instruments, it has been played in various organ versions so far, but the four flutes are particularly close to the sound of the organ and breathe more elastically (flexible, elastic) than the organ.

So, I think that Lynx use of ‘Fuga’s technique’ can be said to be the best version of this music, an ideal performance with 4 flutes. Lynx found an interpretation of its own that is unique and obvious, a transparent persuasive score. The acoustics and bell in addition the character of the Gosse Ruth Hausen church, incorporating the latest technology (DSD 128fs, 5.6MHz in Stereo and three-dimensional Surround Sound), recorded by Seigen Ono resulted in a wonderful and magnificent album.”

Bach’s Art of the Fugue. I love this music no matter what instruments are involved. Check out Lynx, a quartet of Japanese flute players, traveling to a church in Germany to record Bach’s The Art Of The Fugue (BWV 1080). What a delightful discovery this is!

The album is called Fuga Lynx. I was totally enchanted by this familiar music, and how well it worked with the flute ensemble. The church recording provides a wonderful acoustic as well.
